The Rosetta Stone

Welcome to The Rosetta Stone - the online network of codecrackers! Post a code for others to break, or try to break some of theirs! Who knows.. you might even get a reward!

The Rosetta Stone is a fragment of ancient black basalt that was found in 1799 by Napoleon's army in Rosetta, Egypt. Carved onto this stone was a message in ancient Egyptian heiroglyphics and ancient Greek. Using this, Egyptologists were finally able to translate the Egyptian heiroglyphics and unlock the mysteries of these ancient wonders. This website is built on a similar idea - the idea of breaking codes. We want to spread codebreaking out to the world. Post your code on our message board for people to crack! (P.S. - make sure you send us the method of cracking the code - it's "Rosetta Stone", so we can help others.)

Feel free to send us anything you want - but keep it G-Rated (unless you're in the "Adults Only" Section!)

To start with - one of the most well known codes today: The Matrix Code. This code is responsible for the Matrix, which is a very good film, in case you haven't seen it (all three of you out there)!

We invite you to visit us or attend an event. Our members are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the organization and how you can join.

The rosetta stone, you'll never guess!
